Why Breathwork ?

Breathing, the thing you do automatically approximately 20,000 times a day, is actually the key to unlocking the relief you have been seeking… You just have to learn how to work with it.

When we learn how to consciously access our breath and work with it in the way that Breathwork guides, we become our own self-regulating and self-healing individuals. 


Through partnering with the breath, people discover that they now have a direct tool to release what no longer serves them.


After practicing, people often typically report back feelings of physical lightness and emotional relief. It’s uncanny how often people say that it feels like something has been tangibly lifted away. 


Carlos Delafuente

I am a certified Breathwork facilitator, and I practice in Camden on the Midcoast of Maine. I have learned many Breathwork modalities throughout the years such as: Holotropic, Breath of Fire, Heart Coherence & Bhastrika. While they all offer their own unique benefits, through my own experience, this type of Pranayama takes Breathwork to another level.


I was extremely fortunate to find this practice during a challenging period of my life. I never realized how powerful our breath can be- it is definitely one of the greatest cosmic jokes that this thing we do all day long, inhaling and exhaling could be so profoundly transformative.


Breathwork has helped me to quiet my overthinking mind and release a lifetime of stuck emotions. This has allowed me access to connect deeply with my body and intuition, and to discover new depths of love and compassion. For this, I am forever grateful, and feel a deep calling to share it with the world one person at a time.

I arrived at our session in a state of mental overload and physical pain (chronic lower back). I trust my breath and I trust Carlos, and so we dove in. He acted as a highly-tuned conduit, guiding me through the breath practice, so that I could lead myself through exactly the depth of journey that I needed. I greatly appreciated his presence and the way he called me into my own agency and trust in the process. As my energy moved through me (visibly), I laughed, I cried, and I let go of a lot of the armor that was burdening my mind and my back. In reflection after the practice, I felt noticeably lighter (mentally and physically), had a sense of joy and vibrancy, and enjoyed some sweet relief from the back pain. I can't say enough positive things about this breathwork and Carlos as a guide. Do yourself a favor and take the first next step!

These sessions were potent medicine for me. I felt safe, seen and supported in a way that I’ve never experienced. I was able to feel safe enough to release rage, tears and whatever else needed to be released from my body so I could  start my healing process.
